Split and remerge a stack.

Parameters:

• roi (ndarray) – Region of interest.

• max_pixels (Sequence[int]) – Maximum pixels along each dimension.

• overlap (Sequence[int]) – Number of overlapping pixels along each dimension, to be added to max_pixels if possible.

Return type:

ndarray

Returns:

The remerged stack
